Deadline to apply is November 9!

Each year CURISA offers a grant to help with GIS Day activities in the NC and SC region.

The chapter does this in order to help our members promote GIS and GIS Day events. CURISA offers this to be used at the event organizer’s discretion, although it may be used for either refreshments or awards for best poster/presentation or, times being what they are costs for a virtual experience. The grant will be delivered as a check to the sponsoring organization. The event must be open to the public and organized in North or South Carolina.

The CURISA board members will evaluate the applications and determine which events will receive funding. If you are doing a virtual event, we will be happy to list your event on our site.

We would like to share your great work and encourage others in future years with your success story.  If awarded, a written article about your event (photos or links to your event encouraged) will be due by email December 5, 2019 to our board.
